As we continue to make strides in becoming a fiber-first company, we’re launching a new program for our channel partners and wholesale carrier customers that will provide better visibility into our fiber building assets.
Our newly launched On Net/Near Net program will enhance support for partners and customers by providing greater access to our network, simplifying identification of fiber service opportunities and allowing for clear quick-quote pricing requirements. Ultimately, that means it’s easier and faster to transform prospects into sales.

Who Is This Available To?
The program is open to our channel partners and carrier customers, starting May, 2024.
What Is The Purpose Of This New Program?
We were looking for a way to support our channel partners and carrier customers with tools and resources, expand their sales opportunities and position them for success in a digital environment. With this program, we’re enhancing partner access to our extensive fiber network, helping improve sales efficiency and meet customer demands for high-speed, reliable internet and network services.
What’s The Difference Between On Net And Near Net?
With on net, a building is connected to CCI-owned and/or controlled fiber. With near net, CCI-owned or accessible fiber is near the building and available to support our partners and customers.
What Are Some Program Highlights?
The program provides detailed visibility into our fiber assets, including the locations of our on-net and near-net buildings. It also simplifies identification of fiber service opportunities, enabling our partners to quickly transform prospects into sales. And it offers online quoting for products like broadband Internet and DIA, significantly reducing the time from initial interest to deal close.
How Does It Improve Sales Efficiency?
With our On Net/Near Net program, we’re making it easier to gain visibility into our dense fiber network and identify potential fiber service opportunities. By granting exclusive access to the locations of our more than 160,000 on-net and near-net buildings, we’re making it more straightforward for our partners to pinpoint exactly where our services can meet customer needs.
And, by leveraging detailed network information and pre-established commercial plans to focus on the most promising service opportunities, our partners and customers can improve strategic opportunity identification and transform prospects into sales more quickly.
How Does Online Quoting Work?
We’re introducing online quoting for select products, including broadband Internet and DIA, which provides easy online quoting and streamlines the sales process. With this improvement, our partners can expect a significant reduction in the time from initial interest to deal closure.
How Many Fiber Route Miles Do You Offer?
Our fiber network extends to more than 60,000 fiber route miles. This expansive fiber network—along with our diverse service offerings—allows our partners to address a variety of customer requirements. Our suite of services include broadband, DIA, dark fiber, DWDM, SD-WAN and UCaaS.
