More than 3,900 homes and businesses in the Barrington-area gain access to Fidium's all-fiber network, with plans as low as $30
BARRINGTON, N.H. — March 13, 2025 — Fidium has expanded its all-fiber, symmetrical multi-gig speed network to more than 3,900 homes and businesses in Barrington and parts of Strafford, bringing future-proof connectivity access to the community.
“Residents spoke, we listened and most of Barrington now has access to Fidium fiber internet,” said Conner MacIver, town administrator for Barrington. “Beginning in 2021, The Barrington Technology Committee sought out a partner to deliver the high-speed, high-bandwidth and reliable fiber internet connection our residents and business told us they needed. Fidium was that partner, selected from a thorough RFP process, interviews and Town Meeting vote in 2023. Less than two years after that vote, Fidium has delivered a fiber-to-the-premise network for Barrington, completing construction in just four months. The investment in this infrastructure will future-proof Barrington's data access and help ensure our businesses, entrepreneurs and residents have access to the fiber connectivity they need.”
Fidium’s expansion of its fiber-optic network in Barrington, which began in December, brings all the benefits that come with access to a fiber broadband connection to the community.
