Grilling Gadgets

The days are getting longer, hotter, and sunnier. The summer is the season for grilling out. This summer, trade your old-fashioned charcoal grill for next-generation barbecuing technology. Here are five new options to check out in 2018.
The way we light a grill is a little archaic and potentially dangerous. We dangle a lighter over gas, into a stack of wood, or onto a bed of charcoals. The Swedish-designed, electronic Looftlighter offers a much safer alternative. It uses superheated air to quickly light your grill, whether it’s indoors or outside. There is one downfall, which is the cost. It’s a little pricey at approximately $80 per lighter.
Cleaning the grill is the bane of every outdoor chef’s existence. Those metal bristles, the burnt chunks of meat that won’t come off, and the relentless scrubbing. It’s enough to spoil a great afternoon of barbecuing.
Instead of doing all the cooking and the cleaning yourself, outsource it to an automatic grill cleaner. The Grillbot has three settings with different speeds, directions, and movements. The brushes are completely replaceable, including nylon, brass, and stainless steel brush options.
