GIBSONIA – The Official Phone Book of Consolidated Communications is being distributed now to residents in northern Allegheny and southern Butler counties and is available in multiple handy formats.
The 2009 book includes listings for Butler, Cranberry Township, Freeport, Gibsonia, Mars, Saxonburg, Tarentum, Valencia, Wexford and surrounding areas. The directory includes easy-to-read white and yellow page listings, and features several pages of area community information, city maps, governmental listings and a community calendar.
In addition to the traditional directory that is being delivered to area residents, The Phone Book from Consolidated is also available in a mini book format. The mini format is ideal for use in tight places such as vehicles or offices. Area residents can also get a mini book by visiting the Consolidated Communications office at 4008 Gibsonia Road.
The new directory is also available in an online version at the Consolidated Communications Web site www.consolidated.com. The online directory includes the same information as the printed directory, including white and yellow pages, and is easily searchable by name and business classification. The online version also provides maps and driving directions to many businesses by clicking on the address and a link is also available to many advertisers’ Web sites.
As local residents receive their new books they are encouraged to recycle any old telephone books at one of the several locations Consolidated Communications has recycling bins available. Recycling is encouraged in Gibsonia at the Consolidated Communications office at 4008 Gibsonia Road. The recycling bin is available in the front of the building. Bins have also been set up in several locations, including: Cranberry Municipal Building (back of building), Mars Middle School (Three Degree Road side of building); Bauerle Greenhouse and Garden Center in Wexford; Pine Richland Municipal Building; Giant Eagle Northtowne Center in Gibsonia; Friedman’s Supermarket in Saxonburg.
