Consolidated's Pioneer Club donates $900 to Coles County Humane Association
Angelo Rosa, a Consolidated Communications employee and President of the Pioneer Club, said the group held a Casino Night fundraiser recently to raise money for the association and to gather donations. “We’re excited to make this donation to the Coles County Humane Association. The Mattoon-based chapter of the Pioneer Club is part of the national Telecommunications Pioneers organization. Membership is open to employees and retirees of Consolidated Communications. The club also awards scholarships to the children and grandchildren of Pioneer Club members each year, and since 1990, has presented more than $87,000 in scholarships.
