Operations Engineer
| Job Description: | Mentor, train & provide direct support to technical work force. Manage & perform system software upgrades, patches & other configuration changes. Subject matter expertise in specific portions of the network environment. Interworking with internal departments & external vendors. Escalation point for trouble issues with direct accountability and ownership of trouble resolution. Some shift work rotation & on-call support required. Provide direction & implementation for applicable organizational processes & manage policies and procedures. |
| Job Qualifications: | Preferred two to four year degree in electronics, network management, or network design plus four years of telecommunications industry or large enterprise or service provider in a technical focused position. Strong IP skills, & experience required. Knowledge of telecommunications network technologies. Must be able to learn & respond to demands of a fast-paced highly technical environment managing multiple projects & responsibilities. Must have ability to work independently, possess strong organizational, time management, interpersonal and service delivery skills. |
